Tomahawk

This tomahawk was used between 1775 - 1815. It had a functioning pipe bowl and a deadly blade. Most tomahawks were about fifty centimetres long. Most were made of iron with steel edges, but some like this one, were brass with a steel edge. Engraving and inlays of brass or silver were common on both blades and handles.
