Re-enactment at Fort York

In this re-enactment of the Battle of Fort York we saw Tall Ships approach Sunnyside beach, and a number of soldiers in both American and British uniforms on shore. Their re-enactment began at the point where the Americans had already landed and were pushing the British, Canadians and Native forces back towards the Western Battery and Fort York. Throughout this retreat the British forces were under constant bombardment from the American fleet on Lake Ontario, with pyrotechnic explosions on shore.
